Tucson, a little big city!

Forbes Magazine recently ranked Tucson as one of the Top 10 US Cities best positioned to recover from the Coronavirus: The 10 US Cities Best Positioned To Recover From Coronavirus (And The 10 Worst)

Tucson is situated in the Sonoran Desert (Sonoran Desert Museum), the most biologically diverse desert in North America. Climate, climate, and a little more climate! Mild winters, a nice dry heat in the summers, lacking earthquakes, tornados, and for the most part, light pollution.

Yes, Tucson is desert, but it also has seven of the world’s nine “life zones,” including grasslands and alpine forests. Tucson is really seasonally perfect for all sorts of outdoor activities, from horseback riding, cycling, and hiking to snow skiing and caving.

Cost of Living

Comfortable living is also affordable in Tucson with a competitive real estate market. Property taxes are relatively low, and single-family homes are within reach even on a modest income. Both parks feature a visitor center, guided programs, many hiking trails, driving loops, and unique landscape views. Families with kids might enjoy taking part in the Junior Ranger Program.
